Letter, Ms. Charles Stewart Parnell, Avondale, Rathdrum, 11th May 1880, marked private; to an un-named addressee. States that Parnell has no objection " to your having the photo copied" and hoping that it is not too late for the addressee's Committee to pass a resolution "regretting the already developing Whig tendencies of the HR party". Written in black ink on three sides of a folded sheet of watermarked paper. Watermark consists of vertical lines only. The letter folded once subsequently and has worn along the fold and been repaired with clear tape.
