Manuscript on parchment. Rental agreement between the Earl of Limerick and Capt. Thomas Stuart R.N. of Combermere, Co. Cork for premises fronting Richmond Place, George St. dated 14th Feb. 1859. Single sheet of lined parchment with red ruled margins, folded up at the bottom and the fold held at four points, the outer two being of parchment, the central two of pink ribbon sealed at front with red wax. Same seal matrix used for both seals, an oval with the initials "fn"?. The seals are signed by the parties to the agreement. Blue Revenue stamps at top left hand corner with white stamps on their reverse. The document is witnessed on the reverse, and annotated that a memorial of the deed was registered at the Dublin Registry Office on 8th April 1859. Document is folded top and bottom to centre, then in half; both ends to centre then in half. The outer side has annotated details of the contents and solicitor's name, Joseph Murphy, 11 Bachelors Walk Dublin and 55 George St. Limerick.
