Manuscript; memorandum of agreement between Lord Limerick, John Spaight and others on behalf of the Russell Memorial Committee and the Mayor Aldermen and Burgesses of Limerick, re plot of land for People's Park. Solicitors Barrington and Son, 10 Ely Place, Dublin. Dated 10th September 1874. Written on 3 of 4 sides legal paper with printed red and blue frame around each page. Signed by James Spaight of George St., Rev. Benjamin Jacob of Kyleglass, and Robert Hunt of George St. in the presence of P. Shelton(?) Connolly. Signed and sealed with the seal of Limerick, by Thomas E Carte alderman on behalf of mayor and witnessed by John Ellard Town Clerk. Embossed with Revenue stamp, 10/- at top left of first side, counterstamped with date stamp. Circular date stamp with central depiction of Crown, with "Dublin, 24.9.74, D" around it. Pencil annotations at places to be signed and stamped. Folded in half horizontally then in half aagain, the outer fold annotated with contents.
