Ceramic whiskey jar, stoneware. 1 gall. Black transfer above shoulder reads "P. O'Donovan, Wine and Spirit Merchant, Limerick" Flat bottomed, increasing in diameter to the shoulder, short neck and wide flat rim; strap handle rises from shoulder to above the rim, joining the body just below the neck. Cork bung still in place. Clear glaze to shoulder, brown above. Oval maker's mark next to upper end of handle, reads "Curwen Bros. Liverpool."
