Design, Limerick lace. White ink design on grey paper mounted on cloth. Design for scarf end?, with rounded corners. Broad side borders; outer wavy edge composed of alternating flowers between two leaves and row of circles which rise diagonally through border to inner edge; inner edge composed of curves of leaves; in the fields created by the design alternates, dots in one field and three pendant shield shaped flowers in the other. End design symmetrical about long axis; at centre a pointed oval with curved sided hexagon at top; chain festoon running from hexagon to border on each side; below pointed oval curving foliage and flowers, flowers pendant and seen from side as three pointed ovals; one branch on either side curves above festoon; from top of hexagon rises foliage with one branch on each side curving down to terminate at a large flower seen side on. Between borders above main design, a short sprig with two serrated leaves and pendant fuchsia like flower, repeated in 2 2 3 pattern. Mounted on plain thin white cotton cloth.
