Design, Limerick lace. Two collar designs in white ink on grey paper mounted on white cotton cloth. Upper design; rectangular with decorative border on three sides; border of pointed ovals with cusping, separated by s single recumbent open C shape with cusping along inner curve; infill designs of each oval different; internal design symmetrical about axis through middle of long sides; from border rises a pointed oval with serrated edge with tear drop oval above from which four short stems with bell flowers; from each oval rises a short foliage stem and a stem with two bell flowers; at centre and once to each side a pointed oval with serrated outer edge from which two bell flowers; in between on each side, three short branches with round pointed leaves. Lower design; curving, equal width along length; similar border to upper piece on three sides, inner border of curling fern; symmetrical about centre, from upper border four pendant branches with round ended leaves and single bell flower, to each side. Cloth stamped in blue on side against paper, so seen in mirror image; stamp plate has two ornate corners, a rosette in a scroll motif, set in right angle; nothing joining between right angles; "166" stamped between the two "India/ Longcloth" below upper corner and "15 Yds" level with bottom edge of lower corner.
