Design, Limerick lace, in pencil. A half crescent outline with wavy edges, one half? of a collar. Outer border of two wavy bands with regularly spaced dots between; three V-shaped fields each arm of which is a curving and cusped pointed oval with right hand point turning to a trail of leaves and flowers; inside each V. a cauldron, with two short branches with leaves rising from the two at right; left cauldron central to whole design and from it rises a bunch of trumpet on star type flowers and a trail of foliage running above the other cauldrons to the point, with pendant bunches of trumpet on star flowers over each cauldron; inner border of cusped pointed ovals. Faint impression of another design at left side. Reverse left half of an Ordnance Survey 6" sheet, second edition, 1904, no number given but Sheet 48.
