Photograph, b/w, mounted onto board. Edward Daly (executed in 1916), head and upper body only, arms folded, shirt and tie and double breasted jacket. Photo crudely cut to oval, photo packing includes several sheets of Limerick Leader Sat. 01:03:1952, cut to oval shape. Also two whist drive cards with ads for Goodwin & Co, William St; Frank Glasgow, Gents Outfitters, Mallow St. (next to Labour Exchange); Richard Power, Turf Commission Agent (sic - = bookie) Belvedere, Tramore, co. Waterford, Limerick Branch: 17 Upr. Cecil St. Rep. P. McCarthy; Limerick Chronicle; and Irwin Bros., Jewellers, 22 Patrick St, Limerick (for Sports and Whist Drive Prizes), cut to oval shape, ads on one side missing. Impressed patterned card back of frame has four fabric strap ends visible at the edge. The frame is of wood with a winged interlace knot in false relief at each of the upper and lower ends of the frame, and at either side.
