Postcard, b/w, matt. Railway Station, Lahinch, Co Clare (West Clare Railway). Obv: Printed brown. Station, many people visible on platform and around station. Handcart with parcels, baggage, etc on far left of platform. station is a single storey building, built gable end-on to the platform, a curved canopy over, and what is probably a booking office underneath at the left side. A lamp hangs on the right hand side of the canopy. There are three haycocks visible in the fields around the station, Lahinch beyond on lower ground, and the sea and higher ground beyond that. The photo is taken overlooking the station. Title, white, bottom, left, with below, the tops of what appears to be Lahinch Co Clare 4143 WL. Rev: Top centre, Post Card, beneath, a double line, the lower shorter, with, from its centre, descending, a double line that divides the card, vertical. Left, Communication., right, Address.
