D. bowl at rim 2.0-2.3, T. of fabric at rim 1.5. H, pedestal base to rim 4.8. Overall L from rim to mouthpiece 34.6, mouth section of stem 7.4 central section 19.5. D. of stem at bowl 0.8-0.9 at mouthpiece 0.5
Clay-pipe; complete length but in three pieces. Above stem in high relief, the Prince of Wales feathers. Pedestal base with letters in high relief, reading from parallel with stem; on left side "P" or "R", on right "B". Bowl white, stem discoloured to mix of greys and brown. Has been repaired; marks of sticky tape on stem pieces and matchstick in bore. Bowl inscribed in blue ball-point "1719"
