Reverse printed in brown; at centre top "Post Card" with wavy division line below; up left edge "Lawrence. Dublin"; left of centre "This space may be used for communication for/ Inland Postage and Foreign COuntries, except/ Japan, Spain and United States."; to right "The Address Only to be/ Written Here." Pale green halfpenny postage revenue stamp of Edward VII at top right. Circular cancellation, "Foynes R.S.O. Co. Limerick/ PM/ 1 45/ JU 1/ 09". Addressed to Miss McEllwee, 67 Douglas Street, Cork, 31/5/1909, from her sister Alice; message, came here because it was raining.
