View on front shows a typical small white-washed and thatched cottage, with a cart parked outside. 10 views of Limerick folded under flap, all of the images have been used for postcards in their own right; from top "St. Mary's Cathedral, Limerick", "St. John's/ Cathedral", "Baker Place, Limerick", "King John's Castle, Limerick", "Treaty Stone, Limerick", "George Street, Limerick", "The Park, Limerick", "Statue of General Patrick/ Sarsfield, Limerick", "Sarsfield Bridge, Limerick" and "Carnegie Library, Limerick"; at bottom of strip "Valentine & Sons, Ltd., Dundee and London/ Limerick". Addressed in black ink to Miss McElwee, 67 Douglas Street, Cork from "S.A. McE" Green halfpenny postage revenue stamp of George V, first definitive issue with half profile. Circular cancellation "Limerick/ 10 PM/ JY 6/ 12" across stamp; also cancelled across card with 6 horizontal lines, incorporating at left "Limerick/ 10 PM/ 6 Jul 12".
