Poster, printed, black on white, framed. Titled at bottom "Most Rev. Dr. O'Dwyer, Bishop of Limerick (1886-1917)/ Born 22nd January, 1842. Died 19th August, 1917." Inside a black border; photo of the bishop in full ecclesiastical vestments, with Limerick? lace surplice? with short cape over shoulders and pectoral cross; seated with left arm on a table on which rests his biretta. Above title below right edge of border "Printed and Published by O'Loughlin, Murphy & Boland ltd., Dublin." Wooden frame, dark stained outer frame, gold inner, both stained with varnish and nicotine. Frame engraved up right edge at centre "Bass & Co. Ltd." Photo taken from a book; fold and stitch marks at left edge. Reglazed 1987. Chris Doswell framers sticker on reverse. Wired for hanging.
