Scraper ? end and hollow. Struck from a fine-grained sandstone beach pebble. Triangular in outline, with a deeply convex edge. Another edge is rounded in section, the third is flat. One face is the naturally flat surface, unworked apart from one longtitudinal lake scar across the junction of the flat and convex edges. The other face has one large transverse flake scar covering the whole surface from close to the apex to the convex edge, the point of percussion being at the now removed junction of the flat and convex edges. The convex edge has secondary working forming a short bevel on an overhanging pointed edge. There is steep secondary working where the flake was removed from the flat face, forming a small concavity, the edge of which is bevelled towards the flat face from use. Neolithic L. apex to centre convex edge 11.3; W. max 9.1; t. max 2.65; Wt. 249.0 Cashen River / Scraper handwritten in ink on the flaked face, very faded
