Cooper] Comptroller./ To the Distributer of Stamps./ [Limerick & Clare]"; two further amounts in pencil under the main figure, giving sum of £192.7.11; annotated at left side in different hand reading up, but unclear. Final page "To/ Distributer of Stamps,/ [Limerick]/ Post Paid." Back forms the address; both ends folded inward, bottom upwards then top down and sealed. Rectangular red cancellation above address "Paid/ SP28E/ 1836"; second circular black cancellation on reverse as folded "Limerick/ SE 29/ 1836"; also marked in ink "Receiver Genrls./ Acquittances for Qr. Ending 5 Janry.1837" and unclear pencil note to right of address. Hole in paper where seal opened. The front bottom right corner has been folded upwards and a set of instructions has been written on the triangular piece thus formed.
