Envelope, addressed to Peter O'Brien Esqr., Stamp Office, Limerick. Victoria penny red unperforated postage stamp, on bluish paper, at top right, letters AB Cancellation on stamp "271" in a lozenge of parallel lines. Circular cancellations on reverse, Limerick/ SE 22/ 1845" and, "Killaloe/ SE 22/ 1845". Black seal on flap with plain trellis design. Perforation through envelope to right of address.
