Envelope, addressed to Peter O'Brien Esq., Stamp Office, Thomas Street, Limerick. Victoria penny red unperforated postage stamp at top right, letters FC. Cancellation on stamp, "239" in a lozenge of parallel lines. Circular cancellation on reverse, "Limerick/ JU 6/ 1853" and, straight, "Glin" Embossing on flap, floral motif in a garter. Perforation through centre of envelope.
