Envelope, addressed to P. O'Brien Esq., Stamp Office, Limerick. Victoria penny red unperforated postage stamp at top right, letters CI. Cancellation on stamp, "88" in a lozenge of parallel lines. Circular cancellation on reverse, "Pallasgreen/ AP 5/ 1853" and straight "Cahirconlish/ Pallasgreen". Embossing on flap, a heart shaped cartouche.
