Letter, ms. from A. Moore, Killaloe, to P. O'Brien, Stamp Office, Limerick, May 30th 1847, enclosing corresponding half notes. Single sheet folded to form four pages, letter on first, then folded four times and sealed for posting. Green seal with lattice work. Victoria penny red, unperforated, at to top right of address, set sideways, letters QB. Cancellation on stamp, "271" inside a lozenge of parallel lines. Two circular cancellations on back "Killaloe/ MY 31/ 1847" and "Limerick/ JU 1/ 1847". Now folded flat as letter.
