Billhead and envelope. Billhead printed "Mercantile, Military, Law,/ and/ General Printing Office/ Paper, stationery, and/ Account-Book Warehouse,/ 43 Patrick-Street, Limerick" with columns below for date, amount, type of goods provided and cost. Lists, ms in black ink, stationery goods supplied January to July 1850 at cost of 3-7-91/2d, to Peter O'Brien Esqr., by M.R. Canter, with note below dated May 10th 1851 requesting payment, signed by Thos. Reidy for M.R. Canter. Paper has circular embossing at top right, illegible, and watermark of a shield, base only, with "L.E. Co" below. Sheet folded three times and perforated through as folded. Envelope addressed to Peter O'Brien Esqr., Stamp Office, 16 Thomas Street, seal missing from flap. "Request Mr Powel/ attend this tomorrow" in different hand over address. Penny red, on bluish paper, unperforated postage stamp of Victoria at top right. Cancellation on stamp "303" inside a lozenge of parallel lines; on reverse partial blue circular cancellation "Limerick/ ??/ ??/". Envelope has perforation matching that on billhead.
