Receipt, printed with MS additions. Black on white. Provincial Bank of Ireland, Limerick to Peter O'Brien Esq. Made out on 22nd April 1837 in the sum of £23-7-2. Signed by Accountant J. F. Alexander and Manager R. Hunter. Up left "Provincial Bank of Ireland" in an interlace cartouche, with below "Perkins & Heath, London. Patent Hardened Steel Plate". Folded in half twice, right hand edge loose torn along weakened fold. Perforated at centre, as unfolded.
