Cronin]/ Chairman of Committee./ [27th] day of [August] 19[18./ Bank of Ireland Token (Silver)-/ Tenpence- 1st issue- 1805./ J.P. McNamara]/ Director etc., Secretary of Committee". Below border "Guy & Co. Ltd. Limerick". Arms show the twin towered gatehouse, with a dome surmounted by a cross, between the two. Watermark "John McDonnel & Co Ltd/ Swift Brook". Two small brown stains at centre left.
