Clay tobacco pipe made for John Clune, tobacco manufacturer, Limerick? 1880s 1890s. Slightly bulbous bowl at an angle of c. 45 degrees to the stem, which is broken off close to the bowl. Ornamented with overall raised tightly spiralling rope moulding, continuing down the stem. Casting seam down stem and front faces.
