Bottle, porter, of Toomey, Limerick. Brown glass half pint bottle, cylindrical on the lower two thirds with rounded shoulder and slightly tapering neck, and a groove and swelling below the rim, designed to take a crown cap. Inscribed, raised: 1/2pt on the neck, DIC / SE / 127 in circle on shoulder, and Contents bottled / by / Toomeys / Limerick, spread out over the lower half of the bottle. Base slightly dished, inscribed, raised, IGB / 102 L / 17. Oval Guinness label covering part of the inscription on the body, the label numbered L / 89 309615 in red on the centre and overprinted: Denis Toomey / Mineral Water Manuf'ts / Upr. William St., / Limerick.
