Bottle, porter, of J & J O'Byrne, Sexton St and 1 Parnell St, Limerick. Brown glass half pint bottle, cylindrical lower half, conical upper half, with groove and swelling below rim to take crown cap. Inscribed in raised lettering 1/2pt on the neck, DIC / SE / 127 in circle below this; on shoulder: Contents bottled by / J. & J. O'Byrne; on opposite side: Limerick. Base slightly dished, inscribed, raised, IGB / 147 AL / II below line with downward ends. Guinness label below the Limerick inscription, the number L / 40 401119 in red on the centre and overprinted: Bottled by J. & J. O'Byrne / Sexton Street & / 1 Parnell St., / Limerick.
