Pattern makers tool of J Finnan. Iron. Consists of a rod, circular in cross section, tapering towards the ends, expanding and curving at each end forming an overall elongated S-shape. One curved end is D-shaped in cross section, curved side outward. It narrows slightly and evenly from its junction with the rod to the tip. The corners of the junction with the rod are bevelled. The other end is square in cross section, and of even width and depth. The corners of the junction with the rod are bevelled.
