Spoon. Limerick silver serving spoon by Joseph Johns. Hanoverian pattern, with gently upturned end to stem, with pronounced ridge and midrib on upper side of stem. Oval bowl. Crest engraved on underside of stem below the upturn, a dog standing l. on a base, tongue out, tail curling upwards, below the initials R K over cross of four dashes A, four rays below the letter K. Marks: II, lion rampant between, in rectangular shield with concave short sides on narrow part of stem above drop. Mark worn. Midway along underside of stem is a trace of a rectangle, perhaps the word Sterling, worn away.
