Spoon. Limerick silver serving spoon by Joseph Johns. Hanoverian pattern, with sharply upturned end to stem, with pronounced ridge and pronounced midrib on upper side of stem. Oval bowl. Crest engraved on underside of stem below the upturn, a lion rampant on a base, its head worn away. The initials WL engraved on the drop, viewed with the convex face of the bowl facing away. Marks: II, lion rampant between, in shield, twice, on narrow part of stem. Upper mark practically worn away, lower mark partially worn, l. I and lion visible. Horizontal scratches on both sides of stem.
