Axe, chopper, stone. Shale beach pebble, patinated red-brown. Truncated pear- shaped in outline, faces flat. The narrow end is roughly straight, bevelled by a transverse flake scar. One flake scar at the junction of the narrow end and one side on the opposite face to the bevel. The edges are straight, naturally rounded in cross-section. The broad end is convex, flaked all around, heavily from one face, lightly from the other. Surface crazing around the edges.
