Axe, chopper, stone. Shale beach pebble. Truncated pear-shaped in outline, flat faces. One face slightly concave, the other slightly convex. The narrow end has been flaked alternately from both faces, giving a zig-zag edge, continued along one side by flaking from the concave face. The broad end has been lightly flaked from both faces towards one edge, and from one face towards the other. irregular pale lenses through the stone.
