Letter, manscript. W? Arthur to Mr Swan (land agent of the de Vesci estate), 6 Leinster Street, 28th Jan 1824, requesting to lease property in Quay Lane. Single sheet folded to make 4 sides; letter written on first two, post scrpt on 3rd, 4th used for address. Folded and sealed with red wax Two rubber stamps, both red, in a circle; Limerick/ Ja 28/ rest unclear; and , inside a circle within a square with faceted corners, D/ 30 JA 30/ 1824.

Arthur believes house is available because of non payment of ground rent; he has paid Williamson out of part of the holding of Mrs Ready; offers himself as tenant; house has been plundered of roof lead, window sashes etc and is in a state about tumble.
