Photograph, b/w print, mounted. The Mayoral staff, standing in the doorway of the old town hall in Rutland Street. Four uniformed men, one bareheaded the others with caps; to right of door a poster reading, Sale of Manure. The photo is mounted on card which is damaged having lost all corners. On the mount, City Hall, Limerick. Some loss of photo at right side; some writing at bottom has been crossed out. On reverse stamped Wilson Brothers, on a garter, around Photographers/ and Art Publishers/ Glasgow.
