Map. A Map of the City Based on the Civil Survey of 1654; by Claire Lane, VIII 1988. Englishtown section. Black ink on tracing paper. Using the 1840 Ordnance Survey map as a base, Lane tried to map the properties detailed in the Civil Survey. The properties are numbered by page reference to the printed version of the Survey and also in a running sequence. To cross reference one needs the Museum copy of the Civil Survey which has the numbers pencilled in. Key at top right and bottom left; other relevant detail on 2008.0063. One section in Quay Lane marked in pencil as revised. This is a draft map the corrected version is with the author.
