O/ A shiled quartered with a saltire; a roundel containing IS monogram at cross junction; sacred heart in upper quarter, City Arms at left; Three Crowns of Munster at right and at bottom a rampant horse? and ram? either side of a pillar hanging by a chain; inscription around, Co. S. S: Cordis, AM+ DG Limiricense 1859. R/ blank except for enraving and hallmark; engraved, Excellence in Debating/ B O'Leary/ 1953, marks Hibernia, Harp and L, Dublin 1953; makers mark appears to be I M C .
