Postcard, b/w. Funeral of Bobby Byrne, passing The Household Bazaar Co.. 1919. Lansdowne Art Studios publisher. View shows the coffin passing in front of the shop, the pavements either side packed with people; 6 uniformed figures standing on the shop window ledge, 4 saluting the coffin. Publishers name impressed at bottom right.The tricolour on the coffin has been hand tinted. Reverse printed, Post Card at centre top, with Communication, below to left and , Address only, to right. The card has been stuck into an album and then removed taking a pece of green papeer with it. Inscriptions in blue and red over the remains of the green paper. In blue, Funeral of Robert Byrne/ April 6th 1919; in red, Was present at some of volunteers after coffin, and, hat? above on coffin as in request. In green ink Flag was hand painted by publishers
