Label. Framed montage of beer and whiskey bottle labels, of Patrick Purcell and M. Conway. At centre top a billhead of Bagots Liqueur Irish , with images of a bottle of port and one of sherry; overprinted Bought of Patrick Purcell, Tea Wine and Spirit merchant, The Square, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. Covering the lower part of the billhead are two whiskey labels, the upper for D.W.D. Whiskey, bottled by a name obscured by esecond label, Rathkeale; the lower John Power & Son, bottled by M. Conway, The Square, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick; both printed red black and gold on white. Around the edge of the botom third are seven beer bottle labels; three Bass & Co Pale Ale, bottled by P. Purcell Rathkeale, printed black and red on white, two Bass & Cos Light Bitter Ale, same bottler, printed in red, green and black; and two Guinness Extra Stout, one bottled by Patrick Purcell, the other by M Conway. Plain black wooden frame, glass fronted. Plywood back, held in place with panel pins.
