Notice, framed. Look out for/ Rathkeale Races/ on/ Tuesday 7th Sept. 1937/ Full particulars later. Printed by Limerick Leader. Framed together with Ribbon of Rathkeale Races Hon Treasurer 1938. Notice mounted on gold backing card with clear sticky tape; ribbon pinned to right side with drawing pin. Silk? ribbon has a central red stripe on a blue background; lower edge fringed with gold braid; in the centre is a white card disc stuck with the ribbon between, printed Rathkeale/ Races/ Hon. Treasurer/ 1938, and on the reverse, Made by McKerns, Limerick. Plain black wood frame, with gold inner edge. Card back carries an inscription of Michael F Conway's school record for July 1938 to July 1943, listed under year, grade, teacher and award. Back held in place with panel pins and sealed with clear stick tape. Eyes at either side with length of plastic twine between for hanging.
