Photograph, b/w mounted on card. Limerick Rovers Cricket Team 1885. Posed view of 14 people, one seated cross legged on ground, five sitting on chairs with one person at either end of the row standing holding a bat, five standing at back, with small boy looking on from background. The two men at either end of the row are in jacket and bowlers, the remainder in sports gear; all wearing caps, 9 in hooped jerseys, four of the jerseys with L.R.F.C. on the front. The photo is on a mount which has browned with age. Mount has a double red line around photo, and the title in black below the line. In bottom left corner, inside the line is photographers' name which is difficult to make out: O'Brien & Doyle/ Thomas St. Limerick
