Handaxe / chopper, stone. Grey shale? D-shaped outline, pointed at one edge. Faces flat, natural, and irregular due to peeling off of layers. The straight edge is oblique, concave in cross-section, apart from a central bulge, where the section is convex. Flat straight natural edge at one side. The convex edge is flaked steeply from one face, gently on the other, for just over half its length, and unworked, concave in section and patinated to the straight edge.
