Swagger stick, ebony and silver. T. shaped (one short cross arm), with silver, bullet shaped tip; silver mount below handle has O'Brien crest of a bent arm holding dagger, below this "Thomas E. [Enright] O'Brien/First/ High Sheriff/ Under M.P. Act.,/ 39 & 40 Vic. Cap. 76/ for/ City of Limerick/ 1877" with city arms below, castle gate with cross on dome behind. Below the mount is a carved spiral shamrock trail running to just short of half-way down the shaft, lower part plain.
