Postcard. Printed letter from J. Clune, Millinery Buyer of William Todd & Co., at Hotel Bergere, Paris, 8th March 1890, advising addressee that he is purchasing latest fashions and inviting them to view on his return. Reverse printed "Carte Postale/ Ce Cote est exclusivement reserve a la adresse" with printed 10 franc stamp to right, showing two classically draped figures either side of stamp value. Addressed to Mrs Waller, Castletown, Palas Kenry, Co. Limck. Ireland"; two circular cancellations "Paris/ 3? 3/ Mars/ 90/ M. Ste Cecile". Two pencil dealer's marks "1890/ Advert/ £20" and "Ire".
