Newspaper. The London Gazette, No 2692 27-31 August 1691. Single sheet printed both sides in double columns. Printed by Edw. Jones in the Savoy. Report on the approach to Limerick of the army on reverse towards bottom of left column. Aug 20, Caherconlish: march from Nenagh to there; General rode within sight of Limerick; deserters reports; illness and death of Tyrconnell, buried in Limerick; Luttrell siezed and sentenced to be shot, Ginkel sent word that if any put to death for considering surrender, he would take it out on the Irish prisoners; reinforcements from Cork etc; frigates as far as Bunratty. Bottom left corner torn off but not affecting text; top edge closely cropped to edition number removing first line of text on reverse.
