O/ an outer ring with interlace, surrounding the City Arms of Limerick, twin towered gatehouse with dome and cross; J.J.E engraved below arms. R/ Engraved; Limerick Jun Hur C'ship 1935 Askeaton, with hallmarks of Harp, Hibernia and W (for 1938) and maker JM.
