Premises formerly in the possession of Daniel and John Geary who built dwelling houses thereon; to be held on the lives of George Bruce eldest son of Saul Bruce of Castleconnell and George And Jonathan Bruce, cons of Rev. Jonathan Bruce of Charleville. Written on one side, with bottom edge turned up and held together by strips of parchment at either side and two pieces of red tape near centre; red wax over tape, with same seal used on both. Seal; a shield with three lions rampant with crest of a demi-lion rampant holding ring or crescent (both damaged). Signatures of the parties to left of seals have been cut off. Blue paper stamp duty at top left, with small strip of lead at centre; oval embossing, crowned harp with "Ireland" over and "XV Shillings below. paper stamp on reverse, brown on white GR monogram. Circular black rubber stamp "2 SH/ 6 Pence". Witnessed on reverse by A Molony? and Edward Gloster. Folded from top and bottom to centre then in half; then from both sides to centre and then in half.
