Spoon, sugar sifter, Limerick silver by Patrick Connell c.1780. Bright cut. Old English pattern. Circular perforated bowl, perforations in eight radial lines of three around central perforation. Curved handle, at 45 degrees to the bowl, with round-pointed downturned end. Upper surface with bright cut edging, pointed oval blank space for crest or initials below widest point, arrows down centre below. Makers marks on underside from narrowest point, P.C in round-ended rectangle to each side of Ster in ditto, the r small, a stop under it.
