View up stream from right bank, well in centre of photo to left of stream, on a stone platform, the well covered with a walk-in person high flat roofed structure, path with three sets of steps up slope beyond platform, slopes right and left and in distance. Title in white capitals on bottom centre to right of photo, number bottom right corner. Margin around. R/ Printed brown, headed Post Card (open lettering)/ trade mark, shield inscribed "Signal", the tail of the S going over the rest of the word and radiant / "Series" between two lines / E & S Ltd / D. & B. To left of shield, small, Correspondence, to right, Address only. Vertical divide. No outline for stamp. Not posted.
