Postcard, colour, matt. Thomond Bridge, Limerick. No issuer. View across river from Clancy Strand towards bridge and King John's castle. Rocky vegetation on river bank lower left, with boat moored. Extreme left, half of fifth arch of bridge, extreme right, about half way down west wall of castle. Three storey building behind tollhouse, military buildings in castle courtyard. R/ printed brown, headed "Post Card" wavy underline and vertical divide. Heading left, "For inland postage only this / space may be used for communication / (Post Office regulation)", heading right "For address only". Wavy outline for stamp printed "Inland 1/2d. / Foreign 1d / with nothing / but address / this side". Up left "Printed in the United Kingdom". Message, in purple, on left, not completed.
