Wall in bottom left corner, rocky slope to river, with line of rowing boats anchored beyond. Cottages behind tollhouse on Verdant Place. Extreme right, three quarters of west wall of castle. Courtyard buildings coloured red. Title, brown, top centre. Vertically down top left, number "2554.2". R/ printed brown, headed (large) "Post Card" divided by arms, a heart inscribed "Hartmann" held by a cavalier, scroll at feet inscribed "Trade Mark" . Vertical dotted line divide, headings left "For inland postage only this space may / be used for communication", right "The address only to be written here". Stamp space, without outline, inscribed "Only the / address on / this side / if sent / abroad" and down right "Printed in Germany".
