Brooch, silver. Pennanular style brooch, with disc terminals and pin. The centres of the disc have a clear paste jewel, and the whole surface of the brooch and pin are covered in Celtic interlace designs; each disc is divided into six panels of decoration, with five panels on the arc joining them. The pin is made as a separate piece which is soldered to the main body, and on the back of the pin is a safety pin attachment. The reverse bears the inscription "Feis Tuadh Mumhan. 1915/ Maire ni Cillin [Mary Clancy wife of Mayor Clancy]". On the back of the pin at the wider end is a "deanta i nEireann" symbol. There is one hallmark on the left terminal and three on the right. Left, "H & H", for Hopkins & Hopkins; right, in rectangles, all marks worn, Hibernia, Harp and Old English Style T, Dublin 1914-15.
