View shows sea at left and houses on front at right with high seas crashing against the front. Reverse printed in black; at centre top "Post Card" over a shield containing "Signal/ Series/ E & S/ D & B"; down centre as division "This is a real Photograph"; left of centre "Correspondence" right "Address Only". Green 2d Eire definitive issue stamp, with outline map of Ireland under an arch, at top right. Circular cancellation, double imprint mostly illegibel "Ros Cei????/ Co ????" around "??/??/ 49". Addressed to Miss P. Russell Vick, Wildernesse Chase, Seal? {Deal}, Kent, from J.; message, problems with car, playing lots of golf, can drink for all hours as bars never close.
